ABOUT US
Cribb Bushfire Protection is (you guessed it!) a Bushfire Protection provider that offers quality Spray Systems, Portable Firefighting Units, Pumps, Pump Covers, Solar Systems and more!
We specially design, manufacture and install custom made systems that meet the customers requirements and protect their greatest assets from the very REAL threat of a bushfire.
OUR HISTORY

Over 40 years ago, a local Adelaide Hills man saw a gap in the market and an opportunity to help thousands of Australian property owners when faced the threat of a bushfire.

​Founded in 1983 by John Cribb, 'Cribb Bushfire Protection' grew it's reputation from Uraidla, South Australia and across the state as one of Australia's leading Bushfire Protection Providers.

During 1984 Cribb set a benchmark in the bushfire industry by developing the "Cribb Bushfire Fighting Nozzle Sprays", purpose designed for domestic use and now commonly referred to, throughout the trade as the Fascia Mounted Sprinkler.

Over the following years, the company would install thousands of spray systems across South Australia, continuing to grow their reputation and being recognised for their quality products and reliability.

Other then domestic homes, Cribb Bushfire Protection has completed some major projects, working with businesses, schools, national parks, aged care facilities, community centres, government buildings, and the worlds largest Safari Park outside of Africa, 'Monarto Safari Park'.

Our relationship with Monarto Safari Park has extended over 10 years, installing our Spray System across a range of structures including the lion, rhino, lemur, giraffe and chimpanzee enclosure, as well as employee buildings.

After 39 years of hard work and dedication, John Cribb made the decision to retire and hand the reins over to new management. His legacy has and will continue to make a positive impact amongst the Adelaide Hills community and across the state!

With new management as of 2022, we saw some exciting changes, including some new faces, strategies, website, products, partnerships and projects. However, Cribb Bushfire Protection has continued to stay connected to it's roots, remaining a local family business and with the same team who have developed the company into what it is today.

In September 2022 we signed up with The Hills Herald, featuring in their fortnightly newspaper and reaching a larger audience within the Adelaide Hills.

Fast forward to 2023, Cribb Bushfire Protection made the move from Greenhill Road, Uraidla to 18 Quarry Road, Woodside.
Our new office space opened it's doors on the 7th of February, welcoming anyone looking to find out more information on bushfire protection or just wanting to drop in and say hi!

February 2023 also marked the beginning of our exciting new partnership with Master Builders South Australia, allowing us to further extend our connections within the the South Australian Builders Association.

As part of our partnership, we were invited to the annual ‘HiViz Women Building SA Luncheon’ for 2023, which was a lot of fun and an amazing opportunity to meet some incredible women who have played a big role in the development of Australia.

The 1st of June brought the release of the 'SA Builder Magazine Winter 23 where we have a one and a half page feature, introducing ourselves to their audience (click the link to check it out).
